Hughes Mitchell Insurance started in 2014 when Jenny moved to the Lake Oconee area after getting married. She established this business to help people navigate the complex and confusing world of insurance. She has enjoyed building her business in the community and helping many local businesses and individuals throughout Georgia and Florida.
Her company focuses on providing guidance to local businesses, providing employee benefits for their employees, from Medical, Dental, Vision and Disability plans as well as some worksite benefits. In addition, she’s assisted individuals with Medical and other individual products both on and off the healthcare exchange and also sells short-term medical and some individual association plans for business owners. She also enjoys helping Seniors with their Medicare decisions which include Medicare Supplement, Advantage plans and prescription drug plans.
Jenny has over 20 years of experience in employee benefits in sales and consulting roles. She has worked with MetLife, Prudential and as an individual broker working with companies and their employees. Jenny has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications with a minor in Marketing, Cum Laude, from Kennesaw State University.
Branden Wakefield
Branden Wakefield is a retired Chief Petty Officer of the United States Navy. He served our great country for more than 20 years and spent his entire career (when not deployed) in the Jacksonville area. Branden and his wife, Heather, have two beautiful daughters and live in Ponte Vedra, FL.
When asked why the transition from the military life to health insurance – he quickly replies: ” I really enjoyed leading Sailors and helping them navigate their careers. Now I can take that into the civilian world and help even more people. It’s a natural fit.”
